A Trip to the Zoo

We took our first trip to the zoo with both kids. Noelle slept the entire 2.5 hours we were there save for her feeding and diaper change. Brady had a blast but not in the way we expected. We thought he would love seeing the animals and birds because he loves all the animals he sees when we walk around our neighborhood. Instead, he just loved being outside running around and people watching. He wasn't so interested in animals that were far away or behind glass. It's a good think the Lincoln Park Zoo is free and only 15 minutes away ;)


Despite the polar bear being behind glass, Brady did really enjoy every time is swam right by us. We heard lots of WHOA!






Here are the lions, but Brady could have cared less because they were far away and sleeping.



And the fake gorillas were a big hit... mainly because Brady could run up and touch them
