Cuteness

Can I help you with something?

Brady and Hayley

Brady LOVES Hayley. He gets very excited when she is near and if we carry him near her, he always reaches out to grab her. She's pretty cautious around him but definitely tolerates and possibly even likes him as well.

On the way to becoming fast friends

Great-Grandma and Grandpa's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Brady got all dressed up for great-grandma and grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary on April 24th. It was later in the day, though, so we only got to stay for a little bit before we had to leave so Brady could go to bed. Check out Brady's big boy dress clothes. And yes, those are little dogs on his pants :)

I'm not so sure about this guys...

And we saved the best for last. Our handsome little man.

Fun Times

Brady LOVES the world on his exersaucer. He is so proud of himself every time he hits the right thing to play a song.

It's my world mom, so don't mess with it.

Trying to grab the camera.

C'mon, just give me the camera for a minute. I promise I won't throw it on the floor like my toys.

Toes!

Brady's Version of Reading

My friend Jennifer bought Brady books when he was born. One was a Curious George cloth book. Brady loves it. It has a mirror to look in and one of the pages makes his favorite crinkle noise. It amuses him to no end while I get him ready in the morning.

And the cloth strings are so fun!!

It even amuses on the way to/from day care. So much that all I heard during our 15 minute ride yesterday was crinkle crinkle.

Check me Out

So, Brady has a few nice sweaters/shirts. Typically, he has no reason to dress up. However, for Easter, we dressed him up. We waited until just before we were leaving to put on his sweater. Shortly after we were in the car, he pooped. All over his outfit. That was his Easter outfit fail. Well, with May just around the corner, we figured he should wear his nice sweater before he no longer fits in it so he wore it to daycare today. The teachers thought it was adorable. Apparently he pooped out of it by 1030am. It's a good thing we got a picture of him in it before we left this morning ... And thanks for the sweater Pat and Kate - Brady's pooping is a sign that he's comfortable in his clothes ;)

His sneaky face...

What's going on over there, Hayley cat?

His "Bathrobe"

So Aunt Heather purchased a bathrobe for Brady a long time ago. Not practical, but oh so cute. We forgot about it until recently and thought that we would take some pictures in it, because really, that's the only reason she bought it. Unfortunately, we ran into a couple problems.

Problem1: Apparently the 0-9 month tag only applies if you have a short baby. Brady, despite being small in terms of his weight, is not short. The robe is quite short and risque. Note the amount of leg you can see. And if he had been forward facing, this photo would have been x-rated.

Problem 2: We did this at bedtime after Brady's bath. He was in a good mood so we thought this would go over well. He was not pleased, in part because he was tired and a photo shoot is not typically part of his bedtime routine and in part because the robe was too small despite the 0-9 size designation.

This picture aptly demonstrates both problems. Way too much leg and a cranky baby.

Oh well, at least we got to take pictures of him in the robe. That really was the only purpose for it.

Happy (belated) Tax Day

This is how we celebrated tax day on the 15th...

As you can see, Brady is wide awake first thing in the morning

Brady's Baptism

Brady was baptized at St. Ita's Church on April 11, 2010. These are our photos, although we should be getting some more photos from Kate soon. I will post those when we get them. Thank you to everyone who came!!! It was so wonderful to have you at the baptism and our home afterward.

Brady with his godparents and us

The only way we got smiles was if Sean and/or I was not in the picture. Then Brady was all happy to smile at us...

B.U.P. is still struggling to learn how to hold a baby.

Brady with the Thorntons

Brady with the Gonzalez's... there are a lot of these because it took a while to get everyone to look in the right direction :)
