Our "Joey"

Nathan loves to be held in carriers, which happens a lot since we have a 3.5 and 2 year old to follow around, too.

Goofy Girl

Just to point out exactly what's going on here.  Noelle is riding Thomas the Train, wearing a fireman coat, and playing lullabies on her microphone.  Two things I learned from this: (1) she can multitask with the best of them and (2) she obviously has an older brother given her toy preferences.

Bike Riding

Noelle is getting pretty good at riding a tricycle, at least Fred Flintstone style.

And here's a short video:

Hanging out in the waiting room

Noelle had a lot of fun playing in the waiting room while Brady was getting his teeth cleaned.  See that large Garfield in the back - it was literally bigger than Noelle, yet she dragged it all over the office.

Brady's Babies

Brady wanted me to take pictures of him rocking his babies

Big Eyes!

The Car Seat

As with all our children, Nathan isn't a huge fan of the car seat and it's definitely not a surefire way to get him to sleep.  He does tolerate it slightly better than Brady and Noelle, but that's really not saying a lot.

Therefore, I felt the need to document him sleeping peacefully in it.

The Monkey Shirt

Noelle is in love with her monkey shirt.  When she's not wearing it, she's walking around in it, or in this case wearing it as a bandana.

In these photos, Noelle is taking her own pictures of herself  with a pretend camera

Resting on mommy, as per usual

Fireman at the Park

Brady is very into his fireman costume lately... except he's a little confused about what firemen do.  When we were at the park, he pretended to arrest people.

Happy 4th of July

Oak Park 4th of July parade

Waiting for the parade to start

Here comes the parade, starting with a firetruck!!

And it was like Halloween all over again... lots and lots of candy given/thrown to them during the parade.

Snuggled in the Moby Wrap

This is one of Nathan's favorite ways to be held and to take naps.

One Month Old!!

Nathan is already one month old.  He's fairly laid back, so long as he is being held.  If he's not being held, he has maybe a 5 minute attention span to be on his own.  He loves being swaddled and being carried in the moby wrap - he can and does hang in there and snooze for hours.  Until this week, he slept most of the day away although he's started to be more alert during the day.  At night we get one good stretch in the pack n play from about 8 until 12 or 1am.  Then it's a 2-3 hour stretch, then usually the rest of the night in our room with me.  He burps a lot and gets pretty angry when he's gassy, and so usually middle of the night feedings last close to an hour before he settles back to sleep.  He breastfeeds every 2.5-3 hours during the day.  He hates baths and is not usually a fan of the car seat either.  He takes a pacifier but doesn't seem to love it like Brady or hate it like Noelle.
