Brady is starting to take more of an interest in Noelle so he sometimes shares some of his toys. Always on his terms of course, but it's progress.
This afternoon, I asked Brady if he could come play by Noelle so that we could all be in the same room together. He came over with his bag of plastic bugs and proceeded to take each one out and lay in on Noelle. Then he took them off one by one. Then he put them on her again. You get the idea.

Off... and Noelle's probably thinking WTF.

A Halloween Sneak Peak
Noelle's Baptism
Noelle was baptized on August 27th. It was great because we were the only ones there and it wasn't part of a mass so we got a very personalized service. The only thing mommy forgot was Noelle's pacifier in the rush of leaving. Despite that, she didn't cry at all until we were taking pictures at the end and she was overtired.
Also, a big thanks to everyone who helped watch Brady during the ceremony, and to my dad and Glenn who took pictures for us :)
Here are pictures beforehand.
LOVE this picture!
This is the priest putting the oil on her chest
These are pictures by the baptismal font at the back of the church.
The priest is blessing the font
This photo is funny because Brady had a couple fake bugs in his hand. All of us kept holding our breath and thinking he was going to throw them in the baptismal font but he didn't.
Right before the priest pored the holy water on her head.
It's all over and not a peep!
Grandma Sue and cousin Everett
And this is Noelle after the baptism... she literally pooped directly before and while the priest was poring holy water on her head.
Some family photos... and yes, we got Brady to stay still for a few!
But after two pictures, Brady was "all done"
I love this picture!

And here's where things start to get a little dicey
In desperate need of a nap and a pacifier...

Even mommy couldn't make her happy...

Thumb sucker?
Noelle has never been a big fan of her pacifier. She wants to suck on something to fall asleep, but really the pacifier just barely cuts it for her. She routinely lets it fall out of her mouth, and is never interested in it when she's awake. Even when she's upset, it usually does nothing to calm her.
In the past week or so, she's discovered her hands and sticks them in her mouth, holds them together etc. all the time. The past couple days she's come close to getting her thumb and/or finger in her mouth. Today, she's got it mastered. Mastered enough that for the three naps I put her in her crib for, she spit out the pacifier, fussed for a few minutes on her belly, found her thumb and promptly passed out. We'll see what this means for night time sleep and the longevity of the pacifier.
