Two Months Old!

My failed attempt to get her to smile. She wasn't having it.

I'm tired from all these photos.

Seriously, are we done here?

And so we had a second photo shoot later in the day to see if I could get a smile.

Wha'choo talking about Willis?

And this was the best I got.

Noelle is already two months old! It seems to be flying so much more quickly this time. It seems like Noelle is getting into a pretty good routine. Sleepwise, she wakes up once or twice in the middle of the night to eat. That's it! This is amazing compared to Brady. Usually she gets up between 1 and 230am and then either at 530 and then goes back down until 730, or she sleeps until 630 and then is up for the day. During the day, she spends a lot of time napping - she is typically only up 45 minutes to an hour before she needs to go back to sleep. And we let her sleep on her belly, both for naps and bedtime. She loves it and sleeps so well this way.

She eats about every 3 hours or so during the day and is a big spitter, but she's happy about it so it's not something we worry about.

She started smiling around 6.5 or 7 weeks, but they aren't really huge smiles yet and weren't very consistent at first. For about the past 5 days or so, she consistently smiles a lot first thing in the morning and then usually after her naps. Today, for the first time, I got an ear to ear grin from her.

She tracks everything with her eyes and she will turn her head when she hears my voice. She loves tummy time and can hold her head up really well for at least a minute. She also turns her head both ways and can do a half push up with her arms. Sometimes, she kicks her legs and looks like she could figure out how to roll from her belly to her back in the next few weeks if she's really motivated.

She had her two month appointment today and got a few vaccines, which she understandably did not like. But the doctor says she's perfect. She weighs in at 10lbs 5oz and is 23.5 inches. According to the doctor, that puts her right around 50%.
