I think Brady and Noelle enjoyed daddy's birthday celebration more than daddy... they decorated, sang happy birthday at least 10 times, helped blow out candles and ate cupcakes.

Potty Time?!
Noelle really wants to wear underwear like Brady. And she really wants to put on her diaper by herself. So we are seeing where this is going. So far, she hasn't figured either out but she certainly enjoys trying...
And she really likes to walk around sans pants after trying to use the potty. While still wearing shoes, of course.

Memphis Kiddie Park
About 30-45 minutes away from Grandma Bev and Grandpa Kevin is a kids park with tons of rides just right for Brady and Noelle. They had a blast.
We were worried Brady might get scared on the rollercoaster (Noelle opted out of this one) so we sent Aunt Heather with him. He thought it was the best ride there...

Car Ride to Ohio
The car ride to Ohio was pretty rough... At least Noelle easily took some naps, though they were pretty short.
Brady's drawings
Brady really likes to draw and has started to make some pretty cool pictures.
This is a picture of the shark from Finding Nemo, as well as the beach, water etc. around it.
Here are some pictures of Brady's "spider family"
Daddy is the brown spider, mommy is the pink spider, Brady is the gray/green spider, Noelle is the yellow spider and baby Nathan is the purple spider.
Here is Brady in the middle, Nathan on the left and "Joe" on the right. We have no idea who Joe is - there is no one in Brady's class named Joe...

Two Months Old!!
Nathan on August 4th, first by himself
And he promptly spit up within five minutes of being in this outfit, though it didn't seem to phase him
Then Noelle decided she needed to be a part of the photos. This first one would have been great if daddy had brushed Noelle's hair after he dressed her...
And Noelle insisted that I take some pictures of Cookie Monster
And the Brady had to be a part of the action, of course
So here's what's up with Nathan... he weighs 10 pounds 6.5 oz and is 23 1/4 inches long.
He eats every 2 or so hours during the day, occasionally taking a bottle like a champ. He goes to bed for the night around 7:30 and goes 6-7 hours without eating, then eats every 2 or 3 hours after that. He wakes up twice during the night - after the second wake-up he has a hard time sleeping in his crib so he comes into our room and bed around 4 or 5 am. We're hoping to end that over the next month. He naps a lot, but has a hard time napping alone... He doesn't really use the pacifier, either, and instead insists I nurse him to sleep for naps. Only then will he let me give him a pacifier.. also something we're working on.
He loves his bouncer, thinks the playmat is ok, loves bath time now and still pretty much hates his carseat (we're three for three with that - it still boggles my mind that some people put their children in a carseat to help them sleep).
He also does a good job hanging by himself when he's awake. He usually only cries if he's hungry or tired or in his carseat.
He definitely has a clear preference for mommy, mostly because I'm the source of his food, but daddy, Brady and Noelle get smiles and love, too.
