Brady likes goofing around on his changing table before getting his bath... he's so wiggly.

Pat and Kate's Wedding
Uncle Pat and Aunt Kate got married on June 18, 2010 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We flew there with Brady, who was the ringbearer. We were pleasantly surprised with how well Brady traveled and we all had a very good time at the wedding. It's unfortunate that Brady goes to bed so early because he didn't really get to enjoy the reception at all, but mom and dad did while Great Aunt Kathy hung out with a sleeping baby. (Thanks so much Aunt Kathy!!)
Aunt Heather's requested photo shoot with Brady in his finest (and yes they make tuxes this small if you look online...)
Sean walking down his mom
Pat waiting for his bride
Heather and Joe (bridesmaid and groomsman)
Brady and Grandpa Thornton
Sean and Megan (best man and maid of honor)
The bride and her dad

The vows
The three of us after the wedding. The church was not air conditioned, so Brady was quite hot during the ceremony. To make him feel better, we took off his shoes, socks and pants to let him cool off after the ceremony. It's a bit of a throw back to Tom Cruise and Risky Business and it definitely made Brady a much happier little boy.

Finally getting a chance to relax and play in the cool weather
Brady with Grandma Thornton
Brady with Cousin Katie. It started out nice.
By the end, however, both of them were sad.

7 Months Old
Really, 7 months already??!!
Now it's time to eat that sign you made, mommy.
Brady turned 7 months old on Monday. WOW. Time seriously flies. So what's new this month? Well, Brady is eating solids and LOVING it. So far, he eats oatmeal, apples, pears, bananas, peaches, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes and green beans. Not only does he eat all of that, but he appears to like it all equally. Right now he usually gets 2 "meals" a day. We started giving him a sippy cup of water with his meals, but for right now he doesn't really get it. All he does so far is chew on the tip and throw it/bang it on his highchair. He's still not mobile yet, but he likes to hang out on his tummy now. He also knows how to lift his upper body and spin around while on his belly. So he can't move forward or backward, but he can change directions. You can tell he wants to crawl, and actually he gets really frustrated when he moves his arms and legs and gets nowhere. It's only a matter of time. Brady has also started talking more this month. He says babababababa, yayayayayayaya, dadadadadadada and occasionally mamamamamama. But none of it means anything right now. He just babbles.
