9 Months Old!

As you can see, pictures are nearly impossible now that he's crawling.

Stay still you say. What's the fun in that?

And because Brady attempted to crawl head first off the chair a few times, the rest of the photos were shot on the ground, which was much less dangerous.

Brady turned 9 months old on Saturday. And SO much has changed since last month. He's been crawling for 2 weeks or so and boy did he get fast quickly! He also just started pulling himself up onto boxes and things that are shorter than him - he hasn't been able to pull up on things that are taller than him yet but it looks like that's not far away. He got his first 2 teeth within a week of each other. They are the two bottom middle teeth. He was fine when the first one came in but fussy when the second one was about to come through. In feeding news, he eats lots of finger foods now. We are trying to get him to eat a lot of what we eat and so far so good, although usually the texture throws him at first. He started feeding himself a couple weeks ago, too, and is getting better and better as the days go by. We are still working on the sippy - so far no luck but if I offer him a cup and tilt it, he will drink some water. In sleeping news, Brady has for the most part started sleeping through the night (knock on wood). He usually sleeps 630-6 or so. And he has his 9 month check up this weekend so we will get an update on his weight/height.

A tooth

In an attempt to get a cute picture of Brady with my keys, I unwittingly got a picture of his first tooth, which broke through on Saturday. You have to look closely, but the bottom left (his left so your right in this picture) is there.

Hi Mommy!

On the Move

Now that Brady's on the move, the best things to explore are those which are forbidden.

Case in point: Brady was fascinated by the dirty diapers that had to go outside. They were only on the floor for 10 seconds while I went to get my shoes to take them outside before I saw this.

Snuggles Before Naptime

Big Boy Bathtime!

After a 2-3 week period where Brady screamed and cried every time we gave him a bath (for unknown reasons that we were never able to figure out) he loves the bath again. We have even upgraded to the tub sans his baby bathtub. He LOVES all the extra space to move around and splash.

Yogurt

Brady LOVES yogurt. Whatever flavor of yobaby we have, he will eat it with a smile (and some yogurt on his nose).
